Even though we visited the rockshelter cabin on a previous trip, we decide to check it out again before dropping down into the canyon below in search of the lower mine workings.  The entrance itself, seen here, is in poor shape, but in the following photos you can see that as we move deeper into the protection of the massive boulders, the little structure is still intact and snug and cozy.
