Niki's enjoying this new route to the Eagle Cliff area because it's already proven to be quite a bit more scenic than the route from Split Rock that we used before. Also, we're both excited because our goal this time is to try to locate the lower Eagle Cliff mine site which is in the canyon below the rockshelter cabin and is infrequently visited due to its difficult access.
